Art Center of Baltic Amber is located in the Center of Lithuanian capital Vilnius (Address: Šv. Mykolo st 12, LT-2001 Vilnius), close to Church of St. Anne. The art center is an excellent place in a short time visit to learn amber history and to understand how to use it.

What to do and see in the Art center of Baltic amber:

• The first area located in the basement. Here we learned about the amber. Art Center guide told us about the amber road, show the examples of creatures that used to live many years ago, and displayed unique pieces of amber. In the same area, it is possible to find numerous different shapes and colors of amber, to learn why these shapes and colors are different and to know which amber is the most valuable. Do not forget to take a look at the lizard in the amber, which is the most significant exhibit in the art center. It is impressive when you can observe the world of flora and fauna that existed 50 million years ago.
• The second place in the Art Center is the Sanctum of the pagans. Here it is possible to find out about places, where pagans used to have rituals many years ago, and later we were able to make a wish and throw a pinch of aromatic amber dust to the bonfire. There is a legend that your dreams could become true.
• The third-place was an amber workshop. It was interesting to access to the ancient amber processing tools and find out how it was possible to use them many years ago. In the studio, it is possible to observe or make your amber amulet by yourself. Be advised that for educational program pre-registration is required. Minimal requirement - at least 6 or 7 people. Art center can organize excursion and program in Lithuanian, English and German languages. Duration - up to 1 hour.
• Also, it was possible to look at amber closer. You can touch it, smell it, taste it, feel it and find out how to separate original amber from artificial.
• Finally, on the same floor, it is possible to purchase Baltic amber jewelry. It is essential that this jewelry is certified and authentic.
